The beautiful game

I enjoyed the morning off today, even if it was to watch our side squander the opportunity to make the knockout round in the World Cup. Guess I'll be following Holland the rest of the way. I've liked them since 1998, and it's been a while since we've seen them (they failed to advance to the final in '02.)

Tomorrow should be a great day, other than the work portion. My boss called from Houston today to tell me that we need a synopsis of the filings on an Ex Parte issue currently before the STB. That and a few other tidbits should keep me occupied until 5, when I can head over to the Quaff (a downtown KC bar) for a few brews before the Royals game tomorrow. As an added bonus, the boys in blue are in the midst of a season-high 4 game win streak. Watch out, Tribe, here come the Royals!
